Default D Day Photos

Nice shots of the invasion forces D-Day. I like the shot of the wide open beach (no. 9) - imagine it from a German MG point of view, and then from the poor lads who had to cross the open area...

Interesting the US vet wearing US medals but also on the other side what looks like Russian medals as well as a Canadian wings and badges that I have no idea what they are for. Great shots of the landings. Brian
