Default Chev FAT/Limber

Would I be wrong in assuming that the canvas top on the FAT & the canvas cover on the front of the limber were Khaki colored?Saw the picture somewhere on threads, but it's Friday night & the old mind is blank

Hi Gary,
I think you'll have to find the 'photo. I've seen both wartime 'photos and museum pieces with raw khaki, waterproofed (a yellowy khaki) and painted items.
I guess that the painted tarps would be postwar parade-ground vehicles.

Not much help I'm afraid.
