I am amazed at how run down everything looks ... rather untidy and grubby

Default Some of them from an identification project

Hi Mike

Yes some of them I recognize from a Library of Congress project a few years ago, where they were posting either these photos or very similar ones trying to identify where they were taken.

Interesting to see, particular when you put them in context of these pictures were taken right at the end of the great depression. Interesting to see the pictures.
