Default connection rod Johnson iron horse

Dear All,

I have had a little accident with my Johnson chore horse. A bolt came out on the connection rod, resulting in a big mess. Now i need a new / used connection rod to get this small ww2 generator / battery charger going again.

I am located in The Netherlands but this shouldn't be an issue.

Hope someone can help me out or point me in the direction of a possible source.

Part number on part says: 74-1056/8, but i think all johnson iron horse connection rods are the same.

Thanks peter

Default Ok

Found the rods. This rod fits the Canadian chorehorse 300 watt model. I got a few nos chorehorse bits from Bill Drew in the early 1980's he had a large amount of it. Think it was all scrapped as the yard was closed due to family issues

Peter,

I sent you a message yesterday, but I think it might have got lost in cyber space.....

Brian Asbury (BCA here on MLU) in Canada has/had Chorse horse spares for sale.

Stefan at LWDparts (Broek op Langedijk) had some Chore horses and also incomplete units for sale a while ago.

Alex

Hi Thanks for your response.

I will contact the parts guy in the Netherlands first. Thanks for the tip Alex.

If that has no results i will contact you Mike. Does the connecting rod you have Mike the part number on it??

My unit is probably an iron horse in lisence by BSA.

Thanks again
