"Dear All,

The Second Armored Group is planning a major event in 2006 travelling
350 miles over 10 days from Omaha beach through the Cobra areas and
across to the Falaise pocket area and river Seine.

We are planning to take some of our M5 and M5A1s on this event
probably running on their tracks on roads and cross country for 25
miles a day for 5 days.

We are debating the possibility of expanding the number of M5/M5A1s
and would also like some M8 assault guns to join the M8 LACs and half-
tracks in our Recon Platoons.

If you have a such a vehicle and would be interested in the
