Default Welcome all!

For those of you actively involved in the military vehcile restoration hobby and its representative club here in Ontario, welcome to the OMVA's new online presence! As time goes on, info on the club's activities will be presented here, and both members and the public alike are welcome to post regarding said activities.

To avoid duplication of topic matters, please select any of the other subforums for subjects of technical interest (as per our SOPs). In the meantime, enjoy! This is a service to the OMVA community by MAPLE LEAF UP.

Default Great website OMVA...

and welcome. Looking forward to all of your input into our great hobby. My only wish is that all Canadian clubs could come together and support one Canadian CMP publication /magazine. Not a provincial publication, but a Canadian one. Why would our Canadian vehicle restoration community of roughly 750 members want anything else? Convoy has been trying very hard, and I respect Marc for his efforts. I was invited to express my thoughts and I have. Cheers Rob Fast, member Prairie Command.

Lightbulb Canadian Club (That didn't come out just right !)

We're already working on the concept.

And many thanks to Geoff for agreeing to host this forum !

Agreed as to your concept, which is why we have MLU...

As Rob said, we're working toward that same fundamental goal of interprovincial unity.... we'll keep you posted.

I will add that while Marc does good work, there's room enough in this hobby for as much creativity as we can find!

Default Please...

I will remind everyone here that this subforum is for OMVA news, not Convoy news or accolades. The two are not related, nor is Mr. Montgomery even a member of OMVA. Thank you.

With all due respect, Geoff, the angst against one another has shown through with your deletion of the aforementioned postings of today, which I suppose is your right as the moderator to censor.
Maybe the spirit of the welcome post went on a tanget reflecting certain views that some hold , obviously to your distaste.
The earlier endorsements were simply an attempt or endeavor to work together, something which seems unlikely at this time...

Default Convoy vs OMVA

Chris et al,

I put up this subforum as a service to OMVA (of which I am a member) and at their request, such that they might have a ready way of communicating their news. It was unfair to them to fill it with unrelated editorial comments, and at their request, I deleted most of said responses. If you wish to discuss Convoy, by all means do so (it also has its own forum elsewhere as I'm sure you know), but just not in this club-specific forum...
