L/F 2 5.75" 6 Volt Headlights
Does anyone know a source for standard 6 Volt headlights in Canada?
Not looking for reproduction or original military spec just the modern equivalent. I believe the modern part number is 4020. Thanks Sean |

A google search show they are getting hard and expensive to find.
NAPA has them at a reasonable price of $29.87 retail and $20.99 trade price. But there is not a lot of inventory left. 6 in Quebec depot, 3 in Cambridge depot, and 2 in Winnipeg depot. |

Thanks Rob
Yea the prices are getting out of hand. It will soon be cheaper to use a 6 volt LED instead of a standard bulb.

That may well be, but they just don't look right.
Halogens are usually out of the question for the older vehicles because they draw too much current. An issue with the LEDs is they don't produce enough heat to melt off ice or slush buildup.....they will actually build heaters in to them. |
