Default Iltis Operator's Manual Reprints (pic heavy)

After unsuccessfully trying to locate my own copy of the real thing (C-30-108-000/MB-000 Operator's Manual Truck Utility, Light 4x4 Military Design Iltis Canadian Series, Ch/Mod 1 - 1986-02-19), I decided to take matters into my own hands. While the pdf is good, I'm an old-school guy and like flipping pages.

I contacted Crown Copyright and Licensing to confirm I could do this and was informed I could, as long as it was for non-commerical purposes and on a cost-recovery basis only. I then borrowed an original copy from a friend and had a reputable Winnipeg printing company run me 10 complete copies (all pages, English and French, as per the original publishing). Running 10 sets kept costs lower. I then sourced 1-1/4" Chicago screws (as per the orignal binding). One copy will remain for my personal use; the other 9 are up for grabs.

Each copy will come as pictured below, stacked and bound with a paper strap along with 2 x 1-1/4" Chicago screws. I will not punch holes or provide a cover (period-style covers were too difficult to source but are essentially black ACCO file covers). This will allow you to bind them as you wish. On a cost-recovery basis only (I am not making any profit on this as I'm not allowed to, nor do I want to), the price for each copy and screws is $25 plus shipping. Given the size of the package, I would expect the most cost effective method (regular parcel, brown paper envelope) run around $15 to most parts of Canada. I'm at R2R 2K2 if you'd like to estimate shipping on your own.

So I'm a happy camper and have my own copy; now it's time to share. If demand requires, I can arrange for additional runs.

Jason,

I'm VERY late to this group and thread but have just acquired an Iltis and would love to purchase one of the manuals IF you still have any. PM me if possible.

Thanks,
John
