Default CFTO on dual IKEE RT524 radio installation in M38A1Cdn2/3

Here are some photos from the dual IKEE (installation kit, electrical equipment) for putting the 524 sets into the Cdn2 and Cdn3 trucks. The CFTO is rather lengthy, so I am just going to post the basic photos. Here are photos of the 3 different antenna installation points. I have never seen the one on the front right fender.

Here are a couple more shots from the CFTO, one of the tray setup on the left fender, and the other of the setup for 3 radios. Unfortunately, I can't locate the page with the doghouse and the power distribution box, but I am still keeping an eye out for them.

On the topic of the IKEE.....

Help!

I was getting my Battery Box and heavy cabling all sorted out today on my 151. Anyway, I had the female end of IKEE Bendix socket and mounting tab, and was getting ready to solder some copper terminals on the running ends of the cables today. Of course, I forgot which wire is which. The big concern is that I need to cut the Ground down so it can be grounded next to the mounting tab. Would hate to cut the wrong one

Heres a pic. The "A" and "B" poles have continuity to an end of a cable respectively, and the "C" must be a blank. Which one is which?

Rob, any chance you have the CFTO that shows all of the IKEE mounting in the 151, specifically, from the Battery Box to the Bendix? I want to make sure i'm getting it all installed correctly.

Thanks

The Bendix connector installation was specifically mod C30-105-000/CF-001. As I recall, the A is power, the B is neg, and C is blank.

I finally found the page with the photo of the doghouse in the M38A1CDN.

I never saw this particular installation in use, but if it was in a CFTO, then likely someone somewhere had the setup.

I've seen a few pics with that setup, but with a MT-3823/KY-38 NESTOR or a MT-4626/KY-57 VINSON, rather than another MT-1029/RT-524 sitting on top. Must have been a 3 Radio Installation Jeep.... pretty rare i'd imagine, plus very hard on the poor old Wheelhouse.

Nowadays, almost all of our sets are configured like that except for LAV Turrets etc. Then again, the RT-522 is a bit smaller than a 77 Set with Cypher capability built right in....

Great pics Rob, keep them coming. I find these better than porn.
