The C60X is the sole survivor in Greece. I saw it for last time some weeks ago.
They unearthed it from it's grave and they put it for sale..

Ι'll put some photos later in the day..

A freind of mine tried to ship one (possibly this one) from Greece many years ago. It turned out the cost of shipping was prohibitive as it does not fit in a container unless you take off the rear body.

So maybe this C60X is destined to stay in Greece . . . make sure you take good care of it ;-)

Hi Kostas,

Could this be an ex-Greek Army C60X as well? Spotted in the Netherlands in the 1990s, somehow its camouflage led me to believe it is.

Regards,
Hanno

It seems the engine has been replaced as the original GM 270 wouldn't allow the radiator to be fitted this far back. Also the spacer unique for the C60X seems to have been removed. Wonder if the truck survived..

Hanno,
I passed the photo to some friends assumed as "greek vehicle" experts, and all agreed that this C-60X was an ex-Greek Army's like the one that was for sale last year. The C-60X remained at the Army's inventory until very late. They worn the MERDC cammo after 1967.

The remains of the yellow Bridge Data Plate Class are visible although very dim, at the right edge of the bumper like the one of the CCKW 353 at the 2nd photo.
