Default T16 Main bulkhead

I am sending a couple of shots of the T16 main bulkhead, showing the air inlet.
On one the oil coolers are mounted on raised brackets, the second shows them mounted just above floor level. The bulkhead on one has sliding grills, (as per the IPM), and no backrests.
The second has back-rests, and no sliding grills.
Do these represent the MkI and MkII?
My references quote the MkII had the front bogie moved back 6 inches, the rear bogie moved back 9 inches. The rear bogie was also "reversed" a la Windsor. The rear drive was also placed 8 inches further back. Ground contact MKI 71", MkII 77".

Does anyone know when the MkII was introduced, from census number??????.

Any help would be great as there are plans to bring out a kit of the T16.

George

The changes in the placement of the oil coolers and fuel strainer are like a lot of other minor features that where modified during production. The manuals only reference them as changes after XXXX serial numbers depending on what it was. There were also numerous changes in the wheels and their parts as well.

The very late war E2 model was built in small numbers and it is the pattern your reference to moved wheels refers to.

Default T16 Bulkhead

Thanks, thought this might be the case.
The Bovington stowage diagrams show the slotted screens, and is titled MkI. Thought perhaps a major layout change was made for later pattern. The seat back-rests look cool though.

Thanks.

George.
