Default Slat Grill MB 242 contract project

So this past weekend I had the joy of helping a good friend of mine pickup his first military vehicle. It will definitely be a project. It came with a pile of parts too.

Currently he is trying to get signed up on this forum and then he can begin posting updates as he works through the restoration.

Once thing he is currently looking for is a frame. If anyone can help out or knows of one available in Southern Ontario, please let us know.

Default Canadian Slat Grill

Jordan,

It's great to see another Canadian 242 contract Jeep on the road to restoration. They are a very rare vehicle.

Here is the link to an interesting thread on the G503 site about the recent restoration of one in Alberta:

Thanks Brian.

Matt has a lot of work ahead of him. But Im confident he will get it all done eventually. I also told him Im very jealous of him having a legit Cnd contract slat grill. I love the look of the slat over the stamped grill.

The Slat Grill Jeep is a true rare and classic HMV.

A Canadian Order one is to be cherished and needs to be preserved.

Your friend , Jordan , is a lucky guy. I am sure you have told him.

Cheers and good luck.
