Default Russian PT-76 B

Hi
I have a old PT-76B I have switched the engine to a Scania v8 530 horsepower of 14 liters
Some stole turbo last year so I lose inspiration, but now I have a new turbo. First run in snow

Hello Robert,

Nice piece of kit! A sensible engine swap. I like the turbo whine.

It is too bad the Soviets did not have the UTD-20 motor for the PT instead of that large straight 6, 10 years too late. The UTD is arguably one of the most reliable AFV motors out there, lots of displacement and low RPM.

I approve of your engine heater! Did the exhaust force move the heater on its chain when fired up? Move like a jet engine?
