Default The RAAF truck looks to be a Ford ?

Would have thought that This type of thing went on regularly , these guys were unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time . Mind you anything reported in the 'TRUTH' newspaper wouldn't need to be taken seriously without some thorough fact checking

Default Accidents

Some great finds there Mike!

Interesting how the first C60L has gone partly sideways into the pole.

I wonder what role alcohol played in these crashes!

Alcohol, lack of training, bad weather, worn out & badly maintained trucks - who will tell?

Default RAAF trucks

The one on its side is a Ford F60L, the others are Chevrolets I think. The one which collided with the tram is a 1944 type with the overflow tank under the passenger footwell.

Yes there were Royal Navy ships using Sydney as a base, preparing for the invasion of Japan . RN vehicles seen in Sydney included the C8AX Puddle Jumper, Len Schutt found RN markings on his C8AX
