Default Suspect wheel on cart

I saw this photo from reuters online and noticed the wheel. It looks a lot like the wheels found on ww2 British Airborne trailers and light equipment...anyone else have a comment? The photo was taken in Afghanistan this year.

I doctored the photo so we can see what it is. I'd say it's off a small car.

From the looks of it, it could possibly be off a Ford or a Vauxhall/Opel.
