Tracking down original owner CDLV242

Hi guys, I'm happy to report that an important piece
of Canadian military history has been rescued from
the brink of disolving into oblivion .
I've rescued a CDLV 242 (slat grille Jeep) from the
wilds of Quebec. It's rough but definitely saveable.
I've recovered most of the WD numbers from the tail
panel.
My question is, can anyone help me place this vehicle
to it's original unit/deployment ?
