A while ago, Arnotts biscuits (makers of Tim Tams), were stocked by Sainsburys, the whole range inc Tim Tams. My guess was that the Aus $ v. £ Sterling exchange rate was favourable at the time, making it feasable to import.

Have you tried the Anzac biscuits in the supermarkets at present, 99p a packet and genuine Oz made?

Karmen,Catfish fillets floured then cooked in oil.Nothing sweeter in the morning.Where the Rideau river enters the St.Lawrence river at Kingston Ontario,went out in the boat with my uncle Steve RCHA Italian campaign vet,catch em & cook em in an old iron skillet.Gotta go , my mouth's watering.Guess a Molson Dry will ease the pain.Shad sends an arf!!

Ah ... yum. That's just how Mom used to fry fish Garry Floured and fried ... that is when she wasn't doing the boiled sunfish, onions and potatoes which stunk up the house forever, but tasted SO good! She often "snared" the fish for our dinner I miss my Mom's cooking ... and her ... a couple of days ago was the 16th anniversary of her sudden death from heart-attack at age 61 ... maybe Mom and my sister Susie are having a fishfry up there, for the good old days I like to think so.

Never ate catfish that I can recall though, just too ugtly for my "taste"

YES ... the truth is, is that timing and distance are obstacles right now ... meanwhile, I have Vegemite ... and still have some Billy Tea left from Saleman Bob that'll keep me happy until I can arrive at Master Skag's with my skillet and knock him out for a while so's that I can raid his freezer and rescue the Tim Tams ... (my selfish motivation to always have a supply on hand!) ... gee, if I had the money I'd even be tempted to open an Aussie Store and always be sure that TIM TAMS and ANZAC Bikkies and BILLY TEA were ongoind necessary staples! (I hear Vegemite can't get through customs Luckily Vegemite sits next to Marmite in our big grocers stores here
