Just wanted to say thanks to Jeff and Dan for being great hosts at the event.
I had a great time and it was really nice to finaly put some names to actual people. It was also a bonus to pick up some parts for my two projects. Perhaps I will have one of my Vehicles ready for the trip next year. The convoy ride was awesome. Riding a T-16 going all out down a country road is truly interesting. Even more so when we develop vapour lock 3/4 the way up a rahter steep hill. Anyway thanks agian and I look forward to this event next year. Sincerely Jordan Baker

![]() ![]() I especially want to say that CAPTAIN JON and BETTY SKAGFELD opened their home and hospitality to us and made us very welcome and at home ... outstanding! The company, from arriving to leaving, was outstanding ... as were the vehicles that you guys put so much time, energy, money, and passion, and love, into restoring ... one highlight for me was riding in Stewart'sCARRIER DOING REVERSE GOING DOWNHILL on a GRAVEL ROAD! Oh yes ... and i mustn't forget my new found best friend whose Master owns the UNIMOG ... best friend's name CANAAN (did I get the spelling correct?) (pictures to come ... perhaps Friday!!! Watch for them ... I took many) Who knows, perhaps I'll make it to next years event as well ... I'll bring name tag stickers! ![]() Karmen |

I jotted down some names to vehicles ... and if you mean the 3rd truck, closest to the driveway, parked against the building where Jon's is one end, and Jeff (?) Caldwell's is in the middle, the "3rd" I have written down as belonging to "MARSHALL MANNING" (I hope I got this right? I didn't write down what the truck was and am hoping it's the "M 135" you're talking about?) Karmen |

The truck with the carrier on board isn't a M135. It is a M207 a dualwheeled vehicle bought as cab and chassis for Canadian service.
M135 has 11:00x20 single tires and M207 9:00x20 duals. The owner built a platform just to carry the carrier and it is a very nice unit. |
