Yep, a genuine 7 seater 'SUV' equipped with winch and tyre pump. The ultimate CMP.

Default Recovery Pics

Heres some more pics of the body now that she is home and safe from the scrappy's...
We lifted her on by hand (took four of us) with only minimal damage to anything including us.!!
The one with the sign post is to help Salesman Bob realize where she was found.. It's good training for cross border raids.!! The roof started to part company here so it was plenty of packing and pull her back together.. The rivets gave up the ghost on one side..
The data plate is pretty well destroyed but you can still see some of the numbers..

Default What's next?

What's next is simple. You just have to get a rolling chassis to go with it and do a frame up restoration, then get the gun and kit to go with it and you're just about there. Nothing to it!!

Hi Kym - that is close to home. I identified the intersection, ergo the location area. Most unusual vehicle to be in that area. I take it you scoured the farm for any other bits? Did you get any information about how it got there or any photographs from when it was acquired?
Bob

Default Falling apart

I can see why you were having trouble keeping it together... also why you were able to lift it with just four of you. The subframe looks to be completely absent!
The rear floor is just timber floorboards attached to the subframe. Interesting to see one of the timber POL lower holders is still there.
And she's body 59... the highest number found so far.

Hi Bob Thought you may know that intersection.. No info on how she got there and absolutely not another bolt on the farm.!! Searched the place high and low.. Its been there for as long as anyone can remember.. They used it as a cubby house and a "tank" when they were kids about 40 years ago and them some.. They cannot ever remember seeing the hatches or the truck it came off of.. No pics thats for sure..
Keith.. Not sure what frame needs to be underneath but that parts pretty solid..They cannot ever remember seeing timber in it so it was probably never there on this farm anyway.. Nice to hear about the number 59 was a good year too... my birth date.!! Spooky isn't it.!!???

Hello Kym - well according to my spies, certain wheeling/dealing has just taken place, with the body now in greener pastures along with another vehicle. I am also reliably informed that you visited a mate of mine who lives not far from me. I don't remember you visiting me on that trip. Not good enough. I also believe fire truck information may come to hand.

Hi Bob I would appreciate if you would remove the bug from my office.!! Yes wheeling and dealing has been going on but for the life of me I'm not sure what's right and whats wrong.
For me that is.!!?? What do you do when they make an offer you can't refuse.???????
As for the visit to a mate of yours I'm finding out they are ALL mates of yours.?? Did you mean the one who discovered gravity.??? If thats the one it wasn't exactly close to you..
But never fear I will grace you with my presence one day..
As for the fire truck things are looking a bit brighter.. I now have two leads and both look like the goods... Just need to get there asap before another bloke I won't mention..
I need to thank that mate of yours also.. We dropped in out of the blue and he made us very welcome.. My son lost a mate in that bad smash down in Town and needed something else to think about.. He certainly got plenty to take his mind off things in that shed.!! Best therapy a man could have.. "Blitz & Pieces".!!!
Oh and did anyone see a tank cross the border this week.. Going OUR way.???
Cheers Kym

Hi Kym - yes "Burglar Bill" is a good bloke and mate and he welcomes everyone. What he has now is only a fraction of what he had. He was also a founding member of the Corowa scene. Don't worry about Don and Carol, he's pretty shrewd but very reliable business wise. If he's happy, don't worry. I am also fully aware of the latest "Border Raid" with the tank. Guess we got another one. I only have one problem, where are my glasses? As for the bug in your office, live with it, I have them scattered all over the country.
I know what you are up to - Bob

Question Loose Lips et. al.

Hi Tim Tam Tony - what I overheard you saying the other day shocked me. I didn't think Keefy would be like that. There you go, you never know with a bloke, do you?

Default Aussie Post

Hi Bob... I have a theory on the glasses now.. They must have gone through the Melbourne Mail rooms and were grabbed by the Vic's to hold for ransom.. Either that or they were trying to curb your remarkable eyesight so that finding "items of interest" is a bit harder ...Just a theory mind you.... I lost a parcel from the US since then and it went through customs this end that much I know.. Seems someone in Aussie post liked fossils.!!
And just to let everyone know Yes, the body is now no longer mine. Dont worry it has gone to a good home and will be seen again.. As for me well I'm driving a new truck (not in the picture though).. Work the rest out for yourselves.!!

Default Xray Vision Glasses

Hi Kym - you are correct, Vic Post seized these glasses of mine to curb my involvement with Border Raiding. Now the secret is out I can inform you of the specs, sorry, of the glasses.

Xray vision glasses enable those wearing them to see through swimsuit material!

It can observe images through one and sometimes even two layers of clothing and process them in full color. They can also be used to spot all sorts of potential security threats not visible to the naked eye. Such scenarios, once reserved to James Bond movies, no longer have to be imagined. The product and the technology exist right now. Today’s xray vision glasses can be used in bright daylight, low light, and they can even be used to see through darkened windows. They’re lightweight and powerful and yet they’re easy to use.
Features
Wearers of today’s sophisticated xray vision glasses attach them to hand-sized portable DVR systems using cables that run down the back, under clothing.
With this capability, they’re able to instantly view what they’ve recorded, play it back at a later time, or download it to a PC using USB connectors.
If they choose to, they can use integrated microphones to create audio files of the images they are recording.

Bob

Default Glasses.???

Bob your system is quite good but very primitive by my standards.. I find by visiting a phone box, putting my red undies over my blue suit and tossing a tea towel over my back I am able not only to see through several layers of clothing at once but I am also able to fly over other states searching for "items of interest" all without equipment.. Why not try it yourself.. Corowa maybe.?? And once dressed in that manner I throw my glasses away as well.!!!!

Default Re. Glasses

Hi Kym - I'll stick with my glasses. I'm not into cross-dressing, I like to wear my jocks on the inside. And flying around could be dangerous especially with Keefy up there.

Do you realise this thread has now been totally hijacked. Still never mind, you don't have the body anymore.
