Jeep wrecker
I know there is no "ME" in RCE but I think any RCEME will enjoy this picture of a field expedient wrecker cobbled together by a couple of enterprising American soldiers. There appears to be an air compressor on the far right of the pic which has necessitated the removal of the hood from the jeep. Behind the soldiers is an air tank and hose for inflating tires and upon the makeshift dash sits a rear view mirror as a joke as any view to the rear is blocked by the derrick. Apparently this "wrecker" was only used to bring in other Jeeps, as suggested by the text.
CHIMO! Derek.

Maybe the "Centre-Steer" steering was the inspiration for the first Land Rover, built on a Jeep chassis with centre steering?
And if we can "Wreck" a Jeep, surely we can "Dump" one, too (Pics by Keith):

Tony, speaking of "wrecking" a jeep, here's a pic that will bring a tear to the eye of any collector of HMVs. What was once junk is treasure once again.
