Default Well That Was Fun

A massive DENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACK on the network, forcing my people to take down all servers to preserve their integrity. No doubt some 16 year-old kid getting his jollies.

My apologies, but yes, by and large the internet IS vulnerable to such attacks; there's little we can do, unfortunately.

It's 0305 Local time and I'm getting up at 0500, so I reckon a couple hours' sleep will be in order.

Damn...

I knew there was something grossly wrong yesterday.

Nope. Fortunately, the rippers weren't after my server, but they ALL had to be shut down to derail the bad guys. I'm not sure what they did, just that it took eight hours to do it. Talking to the guy on duty at the host I use, it was basically eight-straight with no breaks...

Time the international laws were changed.

As it is an offense to interupt radio traffic, why cannot it be extended to these clowns.

If they want to get their rocks off, jion the SAS
