The same to you and yours... And to all our MLU friends at Christmas... If you find the season difficult and you have to check in this is what you may hear... Answering Machine at the Mental Hospital: Hello, and welcome to the mental health hospital. If you are obsessive-compulsive, press 1 repeatedly. If you are co-dependent, please ask someone to press 2 for you. If you have multiple personalities, press 3,4,5 and 6. If you are paranoid, we know who you are and what you want. Stay on the line so we can trace your call. If you are delusional, press 7 and your call will be forwarded to the mother ship. If you are schizophrenic, listen carefully and a small voice will tell you which number to press. If you are manic-depressive, it doesn't matter which number you press, no one will answer. If you are dyslexic, press 96969696969696. If you have a nervous disorder, please fidget with the pound key until a representative comes on the line. If you have post-traumatic stress disorder, s-l-o-w-l-y & c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y press 0-0-0. If you are bi-polar, please leave a message after the beep or before the beep or after the beep. Please wait for the beep. If you have short-term memory loss, press 9. If you have short-term memory loss, press 9. If you have short-term memory loss, press 9. If you have low self-esteem, please hang up. Our operators are too busy to talk with you. If you are menopausal, hang up, turn on the fan, lie down and cry. You won't be crazy forever. If you are blonde, don't press any buttons, you'll just mess it up. Merry Christmas to all....

Well MLU-ers, are you all recovered from Christmas as yet? I'm glad Dec 25th has passed although I enjoyed it a lot. A very simple and quiet one for me and my Daughter together
I'm STILL receiving MLU-er Christmas Cards via snailmail, so I'm obviously not done with Christmas yet!!!!!!!! I've totally enjoyed receiving these cards from so many of you. They've added a lot to my little corner of the world and life, much more than simple Christmas spirit. Community spirit is more like it ... Derek, thank you for instigating this. It's all meant a lot to me because I have a great affection for all of you and your families here in MLU. After 4 years member come Feb/March, and gazillions of posts by and for me, I'm an MLU-er for sure I can't think of a better community of people and spirit that I've ever met before. I'm amazed by how many MLUers have entered my life as friends, and will remain as friends for life ... more will enter, as more and more new members join and get hooked by the MLU spirit. Geoff ... you made a magic place for us all to find each other and learn SO much while growing bonds of everlasting friendships. Cheers and to you, because without you starting this, we wouldn't be here enjoying all we do. Thank you. I wonder what 2007 will bring us all? But that's a new thread methinks Karmen |
