Got to say Alex, don't encourage him. I've served with him and made the inevitable shower run to the MLBU with him (and a few thousand other close personal friends). While Mike towelled off, the local black bears fell in love with him, the female Sasquatch population attempted to kidnap him and the male Sasquatch union petitioned the government to prevent such further displays.

If he does doff his togs at Gracies, it will have to be after he buys us more than a few rounds of Guinness' best..otherwise retinal burnout and PTSD treatment will be required.

Default Hmmph!

Just because I was issued a wooley pully at birth is no reason to denigrate my svelte and hirsute figure!

At least I don't have to worry about being eaten by said fauna... just kidnapped to add to their gene pool!

In the words of the immortal Andrew Bartholomew Chaplin, "Go poke a weasel up your nose!"

Mike

PS: Alex, it was you who was trying to set me up with your neice in Nairobi.... so be nice!!!

Rob...
Every time we set up a hoo-doo at Gracy's,Mike has some excuse to weasle out...He still hasn't wetted down those Crown's yet at the gathering of the Rotters..
As long as he makes the next do and he comes with at least one pocket to hold his wallet, cash and credit cards he will be within the Gracy's dress code ....
It is almost that time of the year again when Uncle Willy will be visiting from the Middle East...(New Brunswick)....

take it from someone who lives in the middle east( New Brunswick) that this is a beautiful place to live, with lots a turist attractions for them upper canadians, why there is the reversing falls which overlooks a beautiful pulp mill, there is the boardwalk at market square with a lovely view of a sewage filled harbour, and if i may quote don birnie," i loved my stay at gagetown...it was the only place on earth where you could find a swamp at the top of a hill" one of these days alex, mark my words, i'll be up for a brew at gracies.

Yes Mike ..New Brunswick...The Picture Province....Underdeveloped and over exposed...The Middle East...
Happen to be from there myself...
But I spent some time in the far East..Newfoundland...
Had a hell of a great time there this summer ...been 50 years since I left there and just had to go back to some of my old stompin' grounds...
Great people..great music and the best fun and laughing I had since the pigs ate granny....
You have an open invitation up this way if you and Tanya want a break from K.C's fumes...

Default Gracie's Excuses

Alex and anyone else interested:

I'll drag my hirsute butt down to Gracie's if'n you'll have a brewup when I'm not in 'Frica!

By the by, there's a BBQ and brewup, nothing fancy or formal out at the S&P frog farm (no, I'm not pikkin' on mes cousins de la belle province, nor even doz h'eastern h'ontario types, there's just a lot of little green mosquito eaters out at my place!)

1200 to 1700 Saturday, 9 Sep... we're gonna drive an APC, fire up a '42 Chev fire engine and get a head start on puttin' everything away before I leave for Kenya on 29 Sep.

fridge will open at 1700, till then safety rules dictate water and softdrinks.

Cheers! Mike, sasquatch hunk extraordinaire!
