C15a Cab 13 radiator mounting
Hi all
Just wondering on the cab13 radiator mounting. On both sides of the rectangular holes for the carriage bolts, there is a set of holes. The cast riser fits between them and there is no corresponding holes on the chassi frame cross member. Are these holes simply for drainage or was there some cushion that went between the cast piece and the radiator support bracket? Looking at the surface rust pattern on the radiator support suggests that there was no cushion.

Holes
I’ve never come across anything in those holes but they make sense as drain holes. Otherwise a pool would accumulate there with nowhere to go

Ok I’ll go with drain holes. Makes sense too
