1/50,000 June 6 44 Map
1/50,000 Invasion Map used and issued on D Day. Shows from Lion sur
mer to Le Mesnil. This map has some edge tears and folds as it was in a map case when I got it. It also has a repairable rip on a fold but is on the Channel area. An original D Day issued map. Lucky guess on where the sheet falls. Drawn by the Ordnance Survey 1942, reprinted 1943. I don't think Overlord had chosen the beaches until much later.
