Default And to you Robert

Same for all you good folk on our fantastic little forum. Have a christmas and a new year.

One of the important things about this time of year for the Canadians is they should be starting to form their travel plans for Corowa 2011

Default Deep in the heart of Texas

It's a little harder to get in the Christmas spirit when we're setting record highs these days (85 on the Winter Solstice!) but cooler weather is forecast for Christmas so I might yet be able to light the Yule Log.
At this time of year I reflect on those no longer with us. I lost a very good reenactor friend this year, name of John Joblin and we all lost our very dear Jefe. So I'm going to pour a wee dram in a cup on Christmas Day and toast the memory of John and Jefe.

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas to all on MLU. We have lost a few military vehicle enthusiasts in 2011 and I have just received news that Jim Bennie, from near Shepparton in Victoria is seriously ill in St Vincents Hospital in Melbourne after being bitten by a spider. Not a nice way to spend Christmas for his wife Jenny and family.
Hopefully everyone are completing their Entry Forms for Corowa 2011. KVE looks forward to organising this event in March.

Default Merry christmas

Hi All

As a relatively new member of MLU, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all those on the MLU site a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year.

Thanks to all of you who have helped me with advice and assitance with my 1942 MB Willys Jeep restoration project, I hope to start the engine within the next couple of days. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Corowa 2011 here I come.

Cheers to all

Little Jo

We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, we've had a great day with constant food and visitors all day now we're going out with friends, hope everyone is well too.

This year is so different to the last few years, we haven't even got to 30 degrees yet this summer and we're still making hay and getting bogged at times, this means we still can't go away that's farming I guess.

Default Christmas in Ottawa..

Hi ..
Just to let you know I just saw Santa and his sleigh heading North over the house heading home..Nice clear morning..-10C ..great lift on the old sleigh..
Flying light..all the goodies are gone til next year..
Hope all had a better Christmas than these three guys that appeared at the Pearly Gates..

Three men die in a car accident Christmas Eve. They all find themselves at the pearly gates waiting to enter Heaven. On entering they must present something "Christmassy".

The first man searches his pocket, and finds some Mistletoe, so he is allowed in.

The second man presents a cracker, so he is also allowed in.

The third man pulls out a pair of panties.

Confused at this last gesture, St. Peter asks, "How do these represent Christmas?"

The third man answered "They're Carol's."

Merry Christmas
Alex and Family
