What's YOUR Weather/Season Today?
Well ...
Winnipeg aka Winterpeg. Season is SPRING. May flowers??? Yeah right! Mother's Day (Sunday) was a great 22 celcius Monday was pretty good too ... until it started to snow. Today ... this afternoon it started to snow HEAVILY. I see about 4/5 inches or so on roofs and such. MUCH More is expected. Supposd to be a THUNDER STORM and ICE RAIN too! Some roads are closed and road warnings. More snow expected. Currently its 15 to 18 centimters already... expecting it COULD get to as high as 40 or so. Wind gusts to 70! This is supposd to have blown up here from the USA and is hitting from about Calgary, through Saskatchewan, to Winnipeg ... and ???? I hear that Toronto is great today Well, watch it there you Torontonians/Ontario-ans ... we were great too! http://weather.canoe.ca/Weather/CityWinnipegMB.html And our leaf buds just started opening here, but maybe the freezing killed off all those mosquitos that had already hatched? One can only hope Now it's your turn Yappy in Mukluks: wondering when Spring will be here to stay! |

No snow here...
In South Melbourne.
Although it's getting cooler now - good CMP driving weather! Expecting a top of 17 now (12.37PM) 15 in the city. Those are celsius, not farenheit temps. Here is the outlook In detail: A near stationary high pressure system south of Tasmania extends a ridge northwards to Victoria. A complex low pressure system over the Tasman Sea will deepen and move slowly eastwards over the next few days. A cold front over the Bight will weaken and slip southeastwards as it reaches western Victoria on Friday. Scattered showers will continue over Gippsland today, particularly in the east. Elsewhere it will be fine apart from morning fog patches. The day will be cool to mild. Southerly winds over southeast Victoria will continue to be locally fresh to strong in the east. Showers over Gippsland will contract to the far east and become isolated during Thursday as the complex low over the Tasman Sea moves eastwards. After morning fog patches, a generally fine day is expected elsewhere. Conditions will be cool to mild with mainly light winds tending north to northwesterly in the west. Isolated showers will develop over southwest Victoria during Friday as the weakening cold front moves into that area. Morning fog patches are possible in the east. Conditions will be cool to mild. Winds will generally tend west to southwesterly on Saturday. Isolated showers are likely in the south, mainly near the coast. Morning fog patches are possible inland. The day will be cool to mild.

Weather is "Picking Up"
Chilly nights of 0 deg and fresh crisp days of around 10 deg here in the mountains. Still no sign of any rain. And winter's not here yet! Still, we have trucks like this to "lift" our spirits and warm the cockles!

No, Keith, it belongs to Bruce Peelgrane of Wentworth Falls. I think you already have the truck's details in your database.
If you're interested in the truck, it is available for hire, just give the number a call! |
