Canadian in the USMC KIA

According to the CBC, Marine Cpl Bernard G. Gooden, who was with the 2nd Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division and who was KIA Friday outside Baghdad, was a Canadian citizen originally from Toronto but with his residence listed as Mount Vernon, NY.

Expect to see more about this...

The individual was originally from Jamaica and came to Canada in '97. He even had to come up to Canada from the US to get his citizenship and then returned to the US.
