Default Brake rod covers

I've searched the forum high and low for some images of the brake rod covers on the hull floor. I'm sure I saw a drawing from someone, but can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone know where to find the post, or even better the dimensions of the two covers in question?

Many thanks,

Tom

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the response, which is fortuitous as I've been pointed toward you as someone who made a set of the cover's I'm looking for.

Here's a picture of the parts I'm trying to replicate. I may have incorrectly named them?

Cheers,

Tom.

P.S. I do also need the bellows that you have identified, but I'm assuming they are unavailable being 'soft parts'?

Will check my stash Tom, may have a pair, or at least good patterns to make some more, I believe there should also be some springs under the rods which mount to the floor, my memory is a bit fuzzy on that detail though.

You are correct Richard, there should be spring underneath (at least on Mk.IIs). I have drawing somewhere, but Im almost sure that that drawing is also somewhere here on the forum. Try to dig it out Tom

I think this is the spring you are looking for, I can't remember who was good enough to put it on here, but copied it for when I get round to making some.
