I was given the original years ago....the photo was taken by the deceased father of a friend.
He said the recovery was a failure....twice they lost the tank down the bank so it was stripped of its armament and abandoned. |

It looks like recovery training in Waiouru allright, either in Browns bog or in the deep creek out by Waitang. I have pulled APC's out of there........ Time difference of maby 50 years!
I would like to pull out a stewart tho.......... Sadly only things there are rusted out RL bedford chassis |
