Thanks. I've got copies of it already. I had seen that picture before on eBay but the $25 shipping fee keeps me away.

Also, is it just reflection or is the lower half of the mud guard white? You'd think if it was simply reflection some black cam would show. (Oh, and Jordan, I noticed you removed the aerial and smoke discharger brackets. Are they for sale?) |

can you spot the changes?
Yes, aerial and smoke discharger brackets removed after camo paint was applied, leaving the original paint below.
Is there a number plate/name plate with bezel bolted in front of the driver? Also observed, the BREN bracket has an exterior mount the gunner's forward slot. The flare projector cartridge box has been relocated. Lucas headlamps, glacis plate mounted horn, Sheppard's crook track adjuster ... hand painted dark camo scheme. Four screws rear mounted on rear view mirror. The early serial number brass plate mounted on the right front track guard/fender area. If it is a Canadian made carrier, the serial number approximately 2083 or less. Last edited by Michael R.; 17-10-13 at 05:38. |

I just posted more photos of this very same carrier a couple of weeks ago. See post #22. http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=11550
The colours are KG#3 and black. It was freshly painted and cleaned for the kings visit. The fender is just a reflection. However I believe the right side headlamp cover was painted white. I'm not exactly sure why but I wonder if they were trying out different blackout light ideas. Ive got more photos from the film that was shot too. I think there are pictures of this carrier from all sides. Probably most are on this forum but I'm not sure in which threads.

Jordan, have you any idea what the 41 on the light square is for? Likewise the 'bump' on the forward face just in front of the driver? |

Bruce I have no idea on what the 41 on white square was for. The bump on the front plate in front of the drivers armour. It was just a name plate with his daughters name on it. It says Gail.
Here are some more pictures of the same carrier at the same time. These are taken from British Pathe film stills.
