this post is for all forum members, this is a request for help to gather the CFR#'s for all the Canadian M38A1's to try and account for as much of the fleet as possible, info we seek is as follows:
CFR number
serial number if the CFR cannot be found (CDN 2 & 3)
status of vehicle, restored, parted out, unrestored wrecks, dealer parted out vehicles, and for all us old EME types PCC vehicles, museum vehicles, info on vehicles that may have been left behind on UN callouts, units written off in service,CFSEME instructional chassis, in other words no matter the condition we want the info on the vehicle for the data base,
serial # for the 53's
owner name only if they are willing to have there name on the list
unit service history, for you that have sandblasted your 53 it is already to late to find that information
photos of the vehicles as they are today (please forward these to Eric Booth)all licence plate numbers will be blocked out
photos of any Canadian vehicles in service where the CFR can be seen in the photo

Frank:

1. Is this related at all to Clive Law's database?

2. My CDN 3 CFR 70-09048, ECC 122301. Unit history shows it to have spent all its life with 1RCR, London. Fully restored, running. Dual IKEE mounted including AN/VRC-46 and AN/VRC-125. I took the liberty of making it 1RCR's Bn Sig O veh, C/S 91.

3. Will post pic when I finish my running battle with e-mail server.

Jon posted a few questions regarding the list the main one being where the info is going , I did send him a PM but I would like everyone else to know that this info will be going onto Clive's site Ramtank.ca , also those of you that do not want your name on it please let me know,for all those that have sent me their info thank-you , the list is growing fast ,

I currently have CFR 08790, Serial number 99874. Once I get some photo's I will send them. I would like to find out the ECC and history if I could. The restoration is almost done and should be on the road this summer.

Looks like somebody (or bodies) is setting me up for a lot of work
