MK1 Canadian carrier battery cover.

Hi all, I want to make a cover for the battery, I have the original battery tray with the two upright threaded hold down stays. I need to make the wooden lid and the pull down angle iron cross piece, I can see from the drawing in the parts manual how it looks but if anyone has an original for exact dimensions of both the cross piece and the wooden lid that would be great.

couldnt seem to find anything about it whilst searching the forum...help!
