Here are a few carriers that I saw on a trip to the UK in Pounds shipyard at Portsmouth in years gone by, If you like them I will post more, it really was a treasure house in those days, Regards Ron
By the way this must have been the best carrier in the yard as it had been placed there upside down years befor, also the large round balls that you see and the cables,there were hundreds of the balls that were floats used to suspend submarine cables attached to those cables

Carriers everwhere

By the way all of the carriers and tanks were unloaded out side of the yard and driven into the yard, they were all runners when Pounds got them
