Hi David

The shot of the large wheeled M26 being tested by the British is a IWM photo i think in the Chertsey collection which if memory serves me right is the MVE series. I took the number of it and will see if i can locate it for you i think there were other views but dont think the next or previous numbers are of the same vehicle, the IWM seemed to have a strange way of catalogueing this series

Noel going back to your entry on 23 july i missed your question on the towed ambulance sorry, that one behind the Polish GMC looks to me to be a field fabrication possibly utilising jeep or tilly wheels
