Hi Kathy and Max,
Situation here in South East England is that we have just had a hosepipe ban but in force likely for rest of year, due to lack of rain in this area for last two winters ............ so what is it doing today? Raining and cold . .. next minute sunny and warm. Apparantly we had a hot March, but as I was sunning myself in NSW at the time, I take their word for it.
Keep warm.
regards, Richard

Rick, I just watched the morning news, how are you fairing with the floods?

Well, the water is still rising. There are 7 major rivers in flood and all are heading into the Gippsland Lakes. We are fine as we now live on top of a hill. Can still get to town but have to detour the long way round.

Checked the boat this morning but am unable to get to it without a boat. Ha Ha! The jetty is under water and there is about 10/12 feet of water 3 feet deep at the walk-on end of the jetty.

Currently have a mate putting a roof over two containers set about 7.25 metres apart. These ar. 24 feet long containers from the Indian Pacific railway. Had to rig up a 12V bildge pump to pump out the footings before the building inspector arrived today. Not sure which of the unrestored vehicles will in live there.

Anyway, thanks Robert for your concern. We are all OK.

regards Rick.
