I think the "oddly shaped casting" piece is going to be the biggest problem then.
It's the filler part that confuses us most. A picture of that in particular would be great. Thanks |

They're a little hard to find as you can imagine... but they're a neat fit. I should have mentioned the U bolts are shaped to fit snugly around the back of the spring bumper then are formed to conform with the larger holes for the 'D's. On later Ford CMP cab 13s the bracket for the 'D' is formed to accommodate the spring bumper on the front of the bar.
