Malcolm & Radek,
As you so carefully put it, that truck is definately beyond it. The only thing holding it together is rust !. You could spend hours trying to recover bits from it only to come away with more rust. Radek, try and follow up Malcolm's suggestion, as it sounds like a better bet. As a consolation, here are a couple more pictures of a Bedford QL and a C30 or possibly a C60, fitted with a Bedford engine Bedford QL.JPG C30 or 60.JPG C30 Tipper, rear veiw & F60S LAAT c30tipperrear.JPG F60Sbofors .JPG Last edited by Hanno Spoelstra; 19-11-14 at 17:27. Remains of a 13 cab FGT & an early Ford floor plate, again 13 cab. Notice the dots on the floor plate, more commonly seen on 11 and 12 cab vehicles.
Hendrik, I understand there is an interesting little story attached to your visit 20 years ago ?.The GMC you mentioned has now been moved, but is still in the yard Alex, The Albion was featured on the front cover of the MVT mag, Windscreen several issues ago. According to the owner of the yard, that Albion was driven directly from the surplus sales into that spot in 1958 and has never moved since !. It's sister was recovered and I belive restored Regards Keith 13cabfgt.JPG Early Fordfloorplate.JPG |

Keith,
I've been reading about the K3 above. It sounds like it is past it, but I was wondering if you think the cylinder head could be salvageable? Alternatively, does anybody know the location of a useable K3 head that I could purchase? Thanks Clive |
