Default Tales from the Mess

Great story Alex, thoroughly loved how it brought back many good memories of nights spent in the mess. And not-so-good memories of mornings after especially when we were duty Engineer! Americans to this day are still amazed at Canadians' ability to quaff mass quantities of beer and spirits. Derek.

Derek..
True story and I'm sure that you would have been right in there swinging with the best of us that night..
As a side note, that particular radar set was shipped to Iran and was reset back up on the Irania*n -Russia*n border when the Shah was in power...
I see now that they have a blue smiley face for us Air Force types..
Not many of us left..that joined up in the old RCAF...when they were needing us..not feeding us..

Perhaps to the Engineer's motto "Ubique" one might add "adde parvum parvo magnus acervus"

Quite ironically, no.... I just like to colour outside the lines from time to time...
