Hi Alex,
I've seen that picture before also. The Polar Bear insignia reminded me of a picture I saw recently of a Windsor from the same unit photographed a stone's throw away from my house - but 63 years ago. H.

I think we have had the discussion before on whether or not any of the late war production examples with the angular mud guards saw any war-time service.
Have any new pictures surfaced to prove combat use. The featured picture appears to be 49th Recce. Many Windsor Carriers were purchased for the British army under Supply Mechanical Contracts hence the T rather than CT number. |
