Hello everyone.

I'm new here - what a splendid place!

I was given a link to this thread by a member of our group. The trailer mentioned in the last few posts now belongs to our group - donated by another member.

We intend to resore it at least externally and have made progress.

The trailer has now been re-tyred, and last weekend the remaining body panels were carefully de-mounted for reproduction. The chassis will now be sandblasted and painted while this goes on.

A separate team from the group are recreating the mirrors with the help of the excellent RSIGS museum at Blandford and a couple of 1.5 metre satellite dishes that we "found"!

Follow our progress at

There'll be an update on last weekend's work up there soon!
