I’ve come across civilian pickup trucks which used reversed thread nuts and studs where you would find one or two nuts being the wrong direction thread because somebody had broken one off trying to remove it then replaced them with what ever they had. Almost as funny as my sister who tried to change a tire on her car one dark rainy night only to have all the lug nuts break off. Then she called me to come help I arrived pried hub cap with its fake now missing lug nuts and changed the tire, what amazed me was that she had a lug wrench that fit the fake plastic lug nuts, my father it seams had replace the cheep lug wrench with a good X style wrench when he had taught her to change tires.
