Another batch in training, so what do you think note the bike on the left has a shuttered headlight
Les Les Freathy has attached this image: Variations of head lamp black out masks occur, up to the introduction of the 'Lucas' pattern somewhere in 1941. Early black out head lamp covers vary from: -1- half plated and half painted matt black reflectors, -2- Blue painted headlamp glasses with a small opening in the shape of the letter D (on its side), -3- similar but with some sort of paper/material inside the glass, -4- and the protruding cylindrical extension with slots, as shown on the left hand bike.
