Thanks for all of your replies, firstly keith i ordered the number plates on the idea that i thought it was a 42 , going off the chassis number 2842100090B i thought that the first number was the year model?

There are no dates on the gearshift plate on the doghouse.\

Mike there is definately a slot in the floor for a ''PTO'' lever off the gearbox i wondered what this was for now i know cheers

Jeff i will see you on friday of the swap , i believe i owe you a couple of rums for your assistance with the ''POINTS'' incident

their is a body plate on the front clip under the bonnet ''usual place'' i will record the numbers and post them here
