Hi Mike,
if I had known back then... but the problem is if the old rubber hasn't been stored properly they will quickly tear apart in a moving vehicle.
So, new rubber is the answer. How did I get into this? Well, I needed some, then others wanted some so I made plenty. I do not want to make any more as they cost too much to machine and are very time consuming. I just want rid of them.
