Bedford QL petrol tank = £85 -£90 to fill. Been there, and watched as my local Dartmoor petrol station used up all that was left of the LRP in the tank. Thats with nothing in the back. Dread to think what a fully laden QL would go through. Or worse, the Bofors tractor. Scrub that, any other variant other than D and T, really. Thats the biggest pooper with the UK, in (vintage) vehicle terms, fuel costs.

Good luck with the MWR, always good to see them about (my first truck was/is an MW). The plan for next year is a strip down, maybe some wood replacement, and a lot of painting. Again.
