Colin, there is an MV collector in Sherman, Texas by the name of Les Branson who owns a Mk I Ferret. I'm not sure if it's ex-Canadian or not but I will endeavour to find out. Les is a gunsmith and a machinist. He told me at the recent reenactment at Brent Mullins Jeep Parts in College Station that he was making reproduction Bren mounts for MVs. Unfortunately, he is very difficult to contact. He refuses to own a cell phone and seldom answers his phone, but I have contacts in the Red River chapter of the MVPA and I'll ask them to contact Les for me. Stay tuned.

P.S. Good to see you're included in Bruce MacMillan's group planning to go to Normandy in 2009.

CHIMO!
