also the ohio ord 2in mortars are considered title I firearms in the US. yes the brl is demilled but the ATF considers the base to still be a live gun due to the fact that it was not demilled. its a gray area but both mortars i have were transfered on the evile yellow form. just a word of caution.
Cash is always good!

I'm not familiar with the "evil Yellow Form", what is it? I bought two mortars from Ohio Ordnance. I didn't have to send a copy of my C.& R. or fill out any forms , nor was there any paperwork with the mortars, save receipts. Is the "evil yellow form" something that the seller keeps so there is a record of the sale or something else? The firing mechanism seems to work, although they have welded over the firing pin so it can't make contact with any cartridge. That plus a large hole in the side of the chamber and a rod across the muzzle completely prevents the mortars from being used ever again. One of the mortars I sold to someone in Canada with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Were your mortars demilled the same as mine?
