Those are good scans...

FORD-SCAMMELL (Ontario registration 962 C) and CHEVROLET-SCAMMELL (963 C), possibly models 811-W and 1531 respectively. 6 x 4 with Scammell rear bogie. May have been DND numbers 38-1-53 and –54.
