FYI ... heard on Global News today, and I just verified this at the Passport Canada site. NOTE: The numbers they use for days to process means WORKING BUSINESS DAYS, not weekends or days closed. The delayed processing timeframes also do NOT include time spent enroute through the mails!!! Add another week or so for them to mail it to you I would expect.

In the news clips it showed lineups at Calgary Passport office, lined up OUTSIDE the doors and around corners ... sounds like it was averaging a 4 hour wait!!!
Mine was handed in, in person, Dec 22nd. I'm glad I beat out the lineups happening now. Maybe the stars were "just right" for me the day I was there ... whizzed in and out in a heartbeat?
